God as savior

I’ve been blogging since the live journal days, so that means those who read my writing have gotten the chance to watch me change and grow with time.

I can’t guarantee that I’m proud of the thoughts you might find in these archives, but I am sure I stand by some of it, and I can guarantee, I was probably doing my best at the time I wrote whatever you’re reading.

I have chosen not to delete old posts, because I’m a person, and people grow, and that’s just real life.

plus the internet never forgets anyway.

Overall, my advice would be: #Checkthedatebeforeyouhate.]

At the heart of my life is Jesus as Savior.  He saved me from death.  He saved me for life.  He saves me each and every moment by calling back my wayward heart constantly.  He will save me till the day He comes back to save my flesh.

That sounds like a heady idea, but it affects every detail of my life.  Jesus as savior affects how I interact with my co-workers, it effects my dating life and my interaction with friends.  Here are a couple of examples of why I think this is so important:

  1. Encouragement in Suffering #2: Immanuel
  2. 3 ways to respond to insecurity

Here are some more thoughts.
