Finding spaces where you are safe to disagree
At some point, belonging became judged by alignment for me. As a Third Culture Kid, there’s this urge to read the room, to know the rules, and part of how we know we belong is there’s a cultural alignment, there’s a sameness in what we think is right or wrong.
