November Goals: first things first
A few journaling prompts and a reset
Welp. It’s November, and for me at least - that requires a little reset.
This morning I was reading about how important it is to pause and check in and notice the areas in your life where your body/emotions are trying to let you know you’re moving towards unhealth. It’s kind of a profound thought: that at any time you could take the space to notice how healthy you are in different areas, and that the information is ready and waiting. Your body/mind/spirit are so willing to inform you.
I guess, the truth is, most of us already know the answers. We just also know we aren’t going to adjust anything to move towards health. 😬
We tell ourselves we can’t. We feel trapped. We aren’t able, at least not until…(you fill in the blank).
And not to sound too hard on us, but really -I think what we mean is: we are not willing to do the work to resist the cultural pressures or challenge the narratives that control us.
