Robin Hood Prince of Thieves and reclaiming the church

There’s a wonderful/terrible line in Robin Hood Prince of Thieves. The band of outlaws cry out to Robin Hood that the Sherrif’s men have taken their land. Kevin Costner pauses and turns to the camera and says (without even attempting an English accent): “Then, by God, we take it back.”

“By God, we take it back.”
